HISTORY :
This curry paste originated in Burma and was introduced to Northern Thailand in 1557 when the King of Burma sent his armies to colonize Thailand and claim Chaiangmai, the largest city in the North. Since its introduction, the paste has been adapted by Thai people becoming a local favourite. This curry is salty, sour and leaves a spicy hit.
